Despite the huge crisis which rocked the string affairs of the Association of Nigeria theatre act practitioners(ANTP),Lagos chapter previously due to the election exercise that torn the association into different factions.
The association has waived the wrangling issues tailoring its affairs with a new directions. For the first time in the history of the association, it has schedule plan to observe international world theatre day.This was made known through the Lagos chapter governor, Ajala Jalingo. He stated that this year world theatre day shall be used to honour their superiors who have distinguished themselves in the area of theatre. He stressed that the medium will also use to celebrates other art practitioners ranging from dancing, drama,magicians and other art exhibitions. The veteran thespians such as Jide Kosoko, Lanre Hassan and Idowu Philips will be honoured at the event.

Ajala Jalingo noted that actors and actresses should be celebrated while alive. The Antp Lagos boss recounted on the sudden lost of lives of actors and actresses in the industry,claimed that the association is currently consulting spiritual leaders in order to avert the sudden death which is now rocking the industry.
